Design

The goal of a landscape design is to create an outdoor living space which is both visually striking and useful while satisfying the needs of the client. If you can imagine it we can create it. The success of a design also relies heavily on an understanding of a site’s natural conditions. This includes sun and shade conditions, wind exposure, soil quality and potential views. Only after a thorough site evaluation will we begin the design process.

Installation

With 10 years of landscape design and construction experience we are able to implement most any garden project including terraces, paths, water features, tree & shrub plantings, perennial gardens and herb gardens. We can also give new life to older, overgrown gardens through selective pruning and the removal of diseased or damaged plants. With our expertise in all phases of landscape construction and our commitment to quality craftsmanship we’re able to successfully see a project through from initial design conception right though to completion.

Maintenance

Once your garden has been installed we will walk you though it to answer any questions and to offer advice on maintenance. We also provide regular maintenance programs. As experienced horticulturalists we can ensure that your landscape remains healthy from season to season. We can create a maintenance program which responds to the needs of your garden. In the spring we can get things started by edging and mulching your shrub beds, fertilizing and planting season long blooming annuals. Through the summer, general garden management including corrective pruning, cultivating and deadheading as well as scheduled lawn maintenance will keep your garden healthy. Finally, in the fall, we can prepare your garden for winter with a clean-up and a bulb planting for early spring color. With proper management, our highly trained personnel can help your garden remain healthy and beautiful year after year.

Pots & Planters

Container gardens are a wonderful way to create a lush garden in small urban courtyards and on decks, balconies and patios. Annuals, due to their ability to flower all season long, are probably the most common type of plant to use in a container. However, most plants including perennials, herbs, shrubs and even small trees can be used. Planters are not only used for adding color and fragrance to a garden space. They’re also quite practical as they can be used to create privacy, break up a large space into small spaces and provide those with limited space a way to grow herbs for cooking.
